About KeystoneTests.com

Who are we?

KeystoneTests.com was set up by Oxford University graduates Josh Pull and Will Orr-Ewing, the directors of Keystone Tutors London Tuition. Both Josh and Will have many years experience tutoring children from ages 8 to 18 with particular focus on ages 9 to 13. Will has also taught in three of London’s top prep schools as a history teacher and most recently as a verbal reasoning teacher.

Why was KeystoneTests.com set up?

We see education as having two broad concerns. Firstly, to inspire in the young a desire for learning; secondly to ensure that "the basics" (especially literacy and numeracy) have a firm foundation. The aim of KeystoneTests.com is to ensure that the foundations are built in the most effective and practical way possible. To do this KeystoneTests.com aims to solve two problems.

Problem 1: Time Wasted on Unsuitable Questions

Currently children spend far too much of their learning being either bored, doing questions that are too easy, or frustrated, doing questions they find too hard. In both these circumstances their time is not being well spent.

KeystoneTests.com’s Solution:

KeystoneTests.com was launched to adapt to the children who use it. The adaptive platform ensures that children are always being challenged at the right level in different areas. They are therefore able to progress at a pace that suits them and use their time effectively.

Problem 2: Losing Track of How My Child is Performing

Many children spend hours diligently practicing questions but never really find out how they are progressing in different areas. From the piles of test books and completed practice exams it is hard to keep track of what elements are going well and which areas require more work.

The online platform has the benefit of keeping all your child’s learning in one place and analysing your child’s work automatically. This makes it simple to join the dots, keep track of performance and monitor results.
